A tool describing Sea Ice classification, observation and climate impacts. The Arctic. Observatory is a proof-of-concept multimedia science tool designed to enable students (grades 9-16) to investigate Arctic processes. Students can analyze the relationships between surface temperature, ice concentration, near surface winds, ice velocity, and cloud cover over a six year period in order to explore our Arctic system.
